Our Alpine trip offers spectacular off-roading on a tour through France, Spain and Switzerland. Our routes pass through regions which are ski resorts in the winter, but quiet and sunny during the summer, catering for a wide variety of outdoor pursuits. This family-oriented holiday starts at the port of Calais and heads south towards the French Alps. The off-roading starts almost as soon as we arrive but the option for pure relaxation is always there. From here we will explore some of the tracks in the area that lead us high into the Alps and through some dramatic scenery.
Our route into Italy from France will take us over one of the oldest trade routes between the two countries. We will spend a couple of nights here where we can again go exploring some of the winding tracks in the area. One of our trips will take us through some beautiful Italian villages up to the dizzy heights of a 10,000ft glacier whilst another will take us to one of the many old forts in the area built by Mussolini. Much more than mere green lanes, these routes cover miles and miles of high altitude mountain tracks. The scenery in this part of the Alps can only be described as stunning.
From Italy we head back to France for a few days. Here we have the chance to explore the 2800 hectare Val D’Isere off road site, perhaps the finest in Europe, where drivers of all levels can hone their skills on challenging natural and man-made courses. Whilst in this area, we can offer you other activities such as white-water rafting, paragliding or horseriding..The off roading continues including the opportunity to sample a night drive into the hills.
The final destination is Switzerland, our route passing the towering massif of Mont Blanc. Our base is on the tranquil shore of Lake Geneva, a short distance from this beautiful city, providing an opportunity for shopping, boat trips or relaxing and watching the sunset over the lake.
